i am in need to of new struts and springs and i waas wondering what set up people have had good luck with. i have looked at the tiens and ebiach springs and mite go with those. what do you think? i have a 1g awd car

yeah. i had heard the drop the car too much and make it handle bad. i was leaning towars the pro kit if i was to go with them. i done whant the car to be lowered very much at all. i am really only concerned with performance, not having a low riding car.

I would go with the eibach pro kit, and for struts go for the tockio 5 way adjustable illuminas, these things are amazing and are worth the extra money.

I guess the best queston you should be asking is how serious are you about the drag racing? Is this going to be strictly race car, a Weekend Warrior, or just a DD that sees occasional track time? Answer that and you'll see you're options start falling into place.

I decided to just keep the stock springs and use KYB agx adjustable struts to make my car work at the drag strip and still have a good ride without being so low that I have to be careful pulling in and out of places etc. They made a huge difference when launching at the track as well as a much more enjoyable drive on the street. I use a soft setting for the street, drive to the track and crank it as stiff as it will go and it's good for consistant 1.7 sec. 60-ft times. This is with a somewhat easy clutch slip so as not to shock the driveline. Before I installed the agx's it lifted the front end and slammed down the back end. Now it stays nice and level when launching and feels like the car is alot more controlled when coming out of the hole. That's the way I decided to go and I have no complaints so far.:thumb:

i am plannig on having this car as a weekend warroir with some daily driving so that i can cruise with friends to the local hangouts and shows.
