I'm getting my car inspected by some local shop in my home town. It hasn't been on the road since 2002 and I expected some issues like this but I need to make a quick decision on what I can easily do my self this weekend and what i should pay to have done.
Left front lower ball joint is bad, so i need to replace the whole lower control arm. any tricks or special tools needed?
Left front hub/bearing. I probably am going to have the shop do this, doesn't seem like something i want to deal with.
Left rear suspension bushing on the outside of the upper arm is destroyed and needs to be replace... i never really looked at this part so i don't know what would be required to replace it.
I'm just looking for some quick insight as to the work involved in replacing these parts and any opinions on what i should do my self. I have no issues doing this work as long as I'm not going to need special tools or a press to do it...
