NO ebake, rear brakes dragging?

well i just picked up a 93 awd and just trying to button everything up. well the ebake is not there when i pull on it it just flies up no resistance at all. and when driving up can definely tell the rear brakes are engaged. So my question is do i need to replace the rear calipers due to them being seized up?
Or someone mention to me that it could be the ebrake cable rusted on??? didn't think this would be it but i'll ask you guys first

You will basically have to remove the wheels and inspect the rear brakes. You will be able to see if the ebrake lever is stuck in the on posistion on either side.

Remove the caliper from the bracket and inspect the pads for wear and that they are not seized in the caliper bracket.

Check that the caliper pins are lubed and the pin in the caliper slides freely.

Checking to see if the caliper pistons are free will require a rear brake tool. This tool depresses the piston into the caliper. It can be picked up at any autoparts store. A buddy may have one.

The cause for the ebrake coming right up could also be a broken cable so after inspecting the calipers check the cables all the way to the handle inside.

Check ebrake lever on caliper
Check pads in bracket
Check pins on caliper
Check pistons in calipers
Check e-brake cables

See what you need, replace the broken and worn parts, clean up and lube the parts you are reusing and you should be set.
