Hi,

I'm a complete tool and proved that the stock Mitsubishi rims are, in fact, as soft as butter. Thus, I'm in the market for a new set of wheels.

I've narrowed the selection down to a couple of similar-weight (16.5-17 lbs each for the 17" varieties), similar price ($100-130 each) wheels. The choice is currently between the 17x7 ADR Concept Pro (gunmetal w/polished lip or silver) and the 17x7.5 Rota Subzero (gunmetal, steel grey, or silver).

I'm leaning towards the Rotas, since they're a little wider and I've heard of a lot more people riding on them, but I can get a set of four ADRs for $400+shipping, which is a good bit less than the best I've found so far for the Rotas ($520 shipped), and <div style="riceboi">I kinda like the gunmetal with a polished lip, and that's only available on an 18" Subzero (called "Royal Black")</div>.

Anyone have any experiences with either or both of these wheels?

I have the ADR rims and I love them.

After a lot of head-scratching and going back and forth about it, I finally settled on the ADR RS Limited Concept Pro wheels. The price Whalen was selling them at is what got me; all four, shipped with four sets of tuner lugs with locks, came to about $460, which is easily $100 less than I'd have been paying for the Subzeros.

Would have been nice to get the extra width (the subzeros being 7.5" wide, instead of the 7" Concept Pros), but it's only half an inch, and if I really start getting serious about sticking to the ground, I'll be getting some wider 16" wheels anyway (I've got quite a bit of suspension work to do before I get to that point, so it's not really a serious concern right now).

In case anyone is curious, the rubber going on these is the Sumitomo HTR+. I have them on the front of the car right now (as of about three weeks ago), and will be matching up the rears when the wheels arrive. Nice tires, no real complaints from here; I'll be better able to compare them to the stock RS-As after I've got all four on though.

Once they're on the car, I'll have pics up in the gallery. Thanks for the input, guys. :)

I got mine from whalentire also. Mine have kuhmo 712 rubber on them.
