Need suspension badly on my car since it is at 120k. Car is daily driven and is going to the tracks at times. Which setup do you think would be better for me? I'm having a hard time deciding between these two setups.

When you say track can I assume like road-racing style track? Or Drag Racing Track?

What kind of budget do you have to work with? How "track" serious are you?

I mean drag racing not road racing but may give it a try one day. Just basically looking for something to drop my car but is good for the street and drag strip and some agressive highway driving.

since you did not answer the question of budget,
I really like my set up of tokico illuminas and eibach pro-kits. not a low drop but lower and still a very nice ride. the adjustability is very nice too. if you experiment with your settings you can get a very neutral feeling car.
hope that helps.

O yea forgot to add I have $725 to play with and was wondering about the illumina w/ tokico springs or the Tein basic. But thanks for the info on the eibach but want alittle more drop than that offers. Looking to drop the car 1.75 and the eibach only drops 1.2.

for that much money you can just about get k-sport coilovers...

i know this is totally off topic but im going with megan racing coilovers...

I personally have the tockico illumina's and eibach pro's that you are talking about. i really like it a lot because i can still clear speed bumps and entrances to driveways with out slamming my car up. it also has a decent drop and it holds tight with little body roll.

I concur dragonov and sd22. Though with this setup it's low enough for me to scrape on the front end in some driveways(gotta angle drive it in) and certain speed bumps will scrape if I'm not crawling over them...

I've used this setup at the track(road race only) as well and it' felt pretty stable(for a track noob!). :thumb:
This is my daily driver(when it works!) and track car second so comfort has also been something I've wanted to keep(yeah right). :)

I've had the Tein Basics for a few years and like them so far. I went with them because the ride height is adjustable and they are a fairly inespensive coilover and the spring rates(504F/~336R) are probably a bit more than you will find in a typical shock/spring combo. And that's what I wanted.
