Need a socket size for drive shaft nut

Does anyone know what size socket I need to remove the nut on the end of the drive shaft that goes through the brake rotor?

1 1/4" if your breaking it loose for the first time you need a 1/2" breaker bar with a 4 foot pipe to crack it loose

Okay thanks. I thought it was 1 1/4", but just wanted to make sure. It's going to be fun getting these nuts off.

I used a 22mm

put a screw driver in the rotor vanes so it locks on the caliper bracket to keep it from turning

Use a torch to heat it up first if its really rusty.

Or break it loose with the wheel still on and the car sitting on the ground.
