Sidney,
I am installing energy suspension bushing kit and I broke the rear trailing arm cam bolts (the one that adjusts toe) does anybody have a part number, aftermarket or OEM. I checked at work and can't find anything.

I also need a p/n for the lower ball joints on the rear, as well as a sway bar end link kit (not a repair kit, but the actual end links) thanks.

Ok, so i went to every part store in town, aparently there is no aftermarket ball joints or sway bar end links. I went to the dealer and 67.50 per side for the end links, and 145.20 for the ball joint (it comes as the whole lower control arm).

The ball joints I think i'll just leave, they are not that badly worn, i just figured while i was in there I may as well do them. But the sway bar end links have been cut. I'm pretty handy as a fabricator, is there any reason I couldn't take a front end link, cut one of the ball joint ends off and tap the rod, effectively making it fit the rear sway bar. Let me know if there are other options

san rafael mitsu. they have the absolute best prices. look in supporting vendors section

Dude, eBay.
Seriously.

Have you searched eBay? becuase I did and could not find any ball joints specific for a 1G rear. And could not find swaybar end links at all. But Thanks

I ended up buying the toe adjusting bolts from the dealer, only 7 bucks a piece. I found on the VFAQ short tips section that the front ball joints are the same as the rear upper and lower control arm. So i'll get those though work for about 10 bucks a piece.

As for the Sway bar end links. I Macgyver'd up 2 out of an extra front sway bar end link that i had lying around. Heres a procedure for people that are interested.

1. Cut end link in the center of the rod so you have 2 seperate ball joint ends. (i ended up not cutting it in the center, i cut it where the i thought the nut should go, looking back, cut it in the center first, make it easier for threading)
2. Thread the rod with an M10X1.25 die
3. Cut the threaded rod about 3/8" away from the ball joint (just slightly larger than the width of the nut in step 4)
4. Screw a nut onto the threaded rod
5. Weld the nut to the rod (be careful, you'll probably want to remove the ball joint boot before you do this)
6 Weld an M10X1.25X40mm bolt onto the nut

And there you have it. It might not be the best, but it will hold together, and if it doesn't...Its only a sway bar -- i'll break down and buy the mitsu ones for 70 a side.

Here are some things I found in less than a minute on eBay. Maybe not exactly what you're looking for but if your welded sway link job doesn't work out, maybe these are a better option than $70ea. for OEM replacements.
Just wanted to give you another option. Good work on the weld job though,

Lower Ball Joint (probably for the front though, or interchangeable?)

Look, i know you are trying to help but please read my posts before posting a solution that makes no sense to the situation. I am looking for a REAR sway bar end links, not a FRONT sway bar links. As for the ball joints, I realized though VFAQ that yes, they are the same, but no i will not be buying them though eBay as I can get them through work cheaper. But if I didn't find that myself that would be very valuable information.

You embarrass me.
I'm coming home tomorrow to British Columbia and I am disappointed at how rude and sarcastic my brethren can be.

Let me know if there are other options

You weren't down with paying high prices.
I pointed you to eBay.
You claimed eBay had nothing conclusive on ball joints and nothing at all for sway links.
I proved that to be incorrect and linked to sway links and ball joints that supposedly don't exist.

I can read perfectly and I both acknowledged and commented that while these products might not be exactly what you're looking for they're a step in the right direction.
One could have easily tracked down the manufacturer and found a vendor that could provide you with the desired parts. Where there are front links there are bound to be rears. The information is there.

You claimed there are no after market sway links or ball joints and I showed otherwise. And as far as not making any sense, to me, welding up front sways into rear ones doesn't make any sense to me when there are alternatives, so its a moot point.
Furthermore, all of a sudden you can acquire cheap ball joints and that too is somehow my fault?

Just relax a bit, enjoy your cheap ball joints and your welded links but please try to avoid this behavior the next time you ask for something and someone replies with pertinent information - even if the relevance is debatable, just be appreciative someone was willing to help you at all. :)

Sorry, Didn't mean it to come off as rude, as I re-read i realize that i was. but it's a little bit of the pot calling the kettle black i think. i get a little sick of answers like "Dude, eBay. seriously", especially when people havn't checked themselves, which happens a lot around here unfortunately. I realzied you may have checked, but in my opionion the ebay items you pointed me to had no bearing my situation. Especially after I had posted my solution on both the ball joints, and the end links.

And as far as not making any sense, to me, welding up front sways into rear ones doesn't make any sense to me when there are alternatives, so its a moot point.

You have still yet to show me a viable alternative, fronts are not an alternative. But i do appreaciate the effort. And I am not being sarcastic.
