I just installed some Koni Yellow's and GC's. Just curious how much wheel gap is best in front and rear, or is it more of preference. Right now I have around 1 1/4 to 1/2 of gap. I'm going to have the cut the stock panel in the rear in order to put the control on to adjust the rear shocks cause they are STIFF eheh.

I've got the same setup. Koni yellows and gc coil overs. When I first got them I dropped the car almost all the way down. I could barely fit one finger in between the fender and tire. I also had to have the rear fenders rolled so my wheels wouldn't rub. heh

I loved he way the car looked like that, however the ride and handling was pure ass, so i didn't keep it that way very long. I have since raised the car quite a bit and can now fit about three fingers between my fenders and the tire. Like my accurate measurements there? LOL. Anyways, I love the way the car handles now that i actually have some travel back in my suspension, but i still think it looked better the other way. It's all a matter of preferance, but i would never put it back that low because i love the way it handles right now. :D

And as far as trying to adjust the rear struts, I know exactly what you''re dealing with. The first time I tried to stick that white adjuster knob thingy on there and it wouldn't fit, i literally said "D'OH." Then I tried using pliers to turn the adjuster. That kinda worked... then i went through this little tool kit i have in my car and found a socket that fit right over the adjuster and used a socket wrench to adjust it. Works beautifully! :) I still use the white knobby thingy with the fronts though :p

Thanks for the tip. I think currently I could stick about 2.5 fingers in both front and back inbetween the tire and the body. How is your rear camber?

i have mine dropped almost all the way on the GC coilovers and Koni Yellows. the back wheels are tucked and the front wheels have about 1 finger gap. the handling is fine on my car but the ride is not good.. too rough..

Mine sits a little lower with the Eibach ProKit springs. It usually will sit around 2" in front and 2.5 in the rear. But with my motor out the front has about 3.5 gap. :p

So did any of yall purchase a aftermarket camber kit or anything? Also, when I take the car in for alignment, should I mention anything to them in particular?

I have GC/Koni setup as well. I have about 2 fingers all the way around...it rode alright, a bit stiff. But as soon as I installed the upper mounts, it felt like a new car....very smooth now....stiff, but not bone jarring.
