2g AWD Rear Outer CV Joint cups same as the front ones?

somebody might know this since search revealed nothing

Are the 2g AWD rear axle CV joint cups (the part that attaches to the hubs) same ones as the front CV cups on 2g's?

I'm going to have to replace my rear wheel bearings soon as they are humming and i know i won't be able to get the outer cv joint separated from the hubs. I don't really feel like spending $170 per rear axel since all i really need would be the outer cups.

I would try getting the axle out without beating it up first. I have gotten them out before when they appeared to be siezed without breaking them. Try putting the nut on backwards a little ways and use a block of wood and hit that with a real large hammer. As far as the cup size goes. I am almost positive they use the same size CV joint so I would assume the cup is the same but I would measure just to be sure.
