Recommend Good tires please

Car= 96 Gst, daily driver, Lots of mobs see profile.

Suspension= Stock, no mods in the near future

Currently= Riding on 215/45/17 junk ass Wanli tires . Unknown rim dimensions , however this tire size fits/looks well on them, except for excessive fender gap. These tires sidewalls are splitting all the way around

Looking for= A brand/model in 215/50/17 for summer, or all season, with good grip(front wheel drive, modded), attractive tread pattern, decent wear life, and a reasonable price, Looking to stay around $75-$125 each but will go higher if need be, buying 2 this weekend I hope.

Edit: I live in northern Va, its cold now(subfreezing at times) and we do see snow/ice though I will not drive in it unless I get caught off guard.

First hand experience would be best.

I use Falken ZE-512 in 215/50/17 on the streets. These are very nicely priced around $60-70 and make for great daily drive tires. Can't say if they have an attractive tread pattern (personal thing), but they do very well in the rain and have less road noise than the Toyos I previously had on.

Their performance is decent, but dont expect to be wowed. On the brightside the trade off is a very high wear and speed rating.

Couple that seem to work well with fwds are BF Goodrich KDW's or Kumho MX's. The KDW's will probably run you a good amount more. If you search those 2 tires on here you'll get some good info. I recently picked up some of the MX's for next year after all the good things I read about them for high hp fwders.

I'm very partial to my Falken FK-451's. They work great in the dry and very well in the rain and the treadwear has been excellent thus far. I picked mine up from Discount Tire for about 95.00 each.

Most of the Falkens and the Kumho MX are terrible in heavy rain and absolutely deadly on snow or ice. The Kumho SPT is a much better choice for a street-driven car, IMO.

Yes when I listed the MX's, I just assumed that since my car was a summer only, that everyone elses is as well (and the OP didn't have the edit yet) My choices are defently not a cold weather/all season tires. Tires that are designed for max grip in the summer usually have a soft compound that tends to get really stiff & slick when the temp drops. Add to that they usually have a large tread block for max grip, this also equals poor heavy rain traction. Basically you can't have max grip & an all season tire as well. You have to descide exactly what you want.

If you do want an all season that see's cold/freezing temps, heavy rain, snow etc. I defently wouldn't recommend the two I previously did, these are hot weather only tires.
