####,
Yes this is another motor mount question. After finally getting the prothane kit for my 1g, I went to install them and found out that the rear mount was missing the center bolt that connected everything was missing. Well I got the mounts in and it it is not really the vibration that annoys me but it is the extra noise in the cabin. The whole dash rattles horribly at idle and once I get over 2k it all goes away and is just like normal.

To make this short, will the mounts kind of loosen up over a little break in period? I dont know if I will be able to get used to the extra noise if it presists since this car is still my source of daily transportation in the winter.

And guys sorry to :beatentodeath: this topic and if any mod thinks this thread would belong better in a different location feel free to move as needed.

Thanks

Dan

The vibration will subside somewhat over time. When I first put mine in I felt the same way... there would be no way I could live with it. Don't get me wrong, it still vibrates and is still very annoying, but it is way better than when they were brand new.
