Looking into getting some brake pads, now im kinda limited right now as far as $$ because of all other mods i got ordered. my brakes are starting to squeak so i need new pads and possibly rotors.

yea i know i should go with a good big brake kit, but im being cheap!
should i just go look for OEM stuff at the auto parts store?
any links? i need something cheap but that will work.

THANKS IN ADVANCE! :thumb:

as far as i know there really isn't a good cheap pad, this is a time that you get what you pay for. i havent really looked into it because i am broke but from what i have heard and what little i have looked into EBC, Porterfield, and Axis metal masters seem the most popular. i am going to get the porterfield street pads pretty soon but i dont think that they are cheap in comparison to the others. places like RRE ( www.roadraceengineering.com ) and mach V ( www.machv.com ) sell brake accesories. i would suggest looking at their inventory. you might also want to do a search of the forums and see if there have been posts like this before, and if so see what people have said before because i am no expert.
good luck

Axxis metal masters are really nice.. I have yet to fade them.. but i dunno how you drive so you just might ;) for the front it was like 58 bucks.. I know its pricey but well well worth the money.

do they squeak? Thats part of my problem, i had squeaky breaks.. they got new pads and new rotors... and they still squeaked!! :(

thanks! :thumb:

where ever you buy mods for your car they will surely have them.. they only squeek when it is very cold out side and if they do it last about 5 seconds LOL
