Suspension techs sway bars??

does anybody have problems with clearance with the suspension techs rear sway bar when used with a 3 inch exhaust like the n1. i can get a sweet deal on these sway bars but people tell me that the sway bar will hit the exhaust. and i dont want to spend 300 for the rsdsm sway bars when i can get these for 175 for the front and rear. anybody pls help

I dont think you'll have any clearance issues with the exhaust. However, if you're runing 3 inch on a non-turbo I'd say it's time you re-evaluate your set-up. 3" is far too big for a non turbo. As far as the install goes, you'll probably have to take down part of your exhaust for the install but once the swaybars are in, everything should go back just fine.

Also, great choice on the STs, they're the best. Great construction and the bushings are a nice bonus too.

no im not using a 3 inch exhaust on my gs, its for a 97 gst. :laugh: i heard the st bars have clearance issues with 3 inch exhaust. just wanted to know

i put my bars on last night and clearance in not a problem at all.

Hey nowayout, where did you order them from, and for how much? Are you satisfied, did you notice an improvement over stock.

i bought form A guy who never put it on his car.

he was mpre concern about going fast ftraight then around the corner.

$150 for the complete set.

It works great. I don't hav a full set of coil overs yet. So the true test is then.

But right noe the car will not til much around the corner.

Austin you could drive to RM and buy your swaybars. I know they are only like 10min fomr my house.

Ive been asking people and it seems that the ST bars are a little stiffer and they got nice buschings with them. plus they are 300 for front and rear... little cheaper
