what drop should i get to still be able to fit 17's and with what size tire would i need to get to fit the drop????????

i got 17s/225/45 with spotlines and its perfect, but you need to rool your rear fenders...so it wont rub

Basically you press the inside of the fender to make the lip thinner which gives you a little more wheel well clearance, or something like that. I think I heard of some guys using a baseball bat wedged between the fender and the tire as a tool to do this. Think of it as flaring the fender, but you don't bend it that much.

You have to take into account how far you want to drop it, how wide of a tire you want, how wide the rim is, and what the offset of the rim is.

With my 1.5" drop on my coilobers I run 235/40/17 on +35 offset Kosei K1's. No rub and I know I can go move up to a 235/45/17 to get more sidewall or to a 245/40/17 to get more contact patch and still be fine for fitment. The offset of the rims is crucial as is the overall diameter (Width x sidewall profile + rim size: (235 X .45) + (17in x 25.4mm/in) for instance)

Rolling the fender with a bat works great,.. basically what "Dont Need 8" says, but you can't even tell the difference after I did it to mine,.. oh by the way.. I've got Eibach pro-kit.. =1.3" drop with 225/45/17,.. and I had to roll the rear fenders,.. so if you go wider tires, or lower drop, you'd have to adjust a bit more, and you need a camber kit

Benieman,

I think I have the same tire size (I'll have to check later), but I didn't have to roll my fenders. Do you have original shocks or aftermarket, and do the turbo modelss sit a little lower on the Pro-Kits? I have never rubbed or anything, or at least I didn't know if I did and I see no signs of it on the wheel well or fender.
