ok so start of story i ran into a 6 inch concrete curb doing about 40-50 mph and then into a ditch one morning because i was driving stupid. so i hit the curb and my whole front end jumps in the air and i land hard in the grass, my rims are bent and my tire is sitting close towards the inside of the car instead of the middle of the tire well like its supposed to... my drivers side tire is slightly sticking out while the passenger is straight... ive ####ed up my front end i think.. i drive it home and its rubbing all over the place and making noises and im pissed.
i take it to a mechanic and he tells me i bent my lower control arm (the s-curved one). so i go to a junk yard and get both and install them and as soon as i take the old ones off the whole thing springs back in place... i match them with my new control arms and they are bent to hell so im thinking for sure this is it... and behold it works my alignment is great and my car feels better than before it drives smooth and straight as a ruler.
then i dont know when slowly day by day my car steers towards the left really really bad and my drivers side tire starts wearing on the inside REAL bad they wont last for nothing... my car is dropped but its never camber wore this bad.. i can tell there is something wrong because i can't turn a corner without feeling the difference like it wont hug the road it feels like its going to slip on the corners.. also when im going slow and i turn my tires make that squeeling noise that tires make on concrete.. if i driving down the road at any speed and i turn quickly to avoid something it makes that tire squeeling noise no matter what speed so i know something is wrong but i dont know what. could it be that the lower control arms i got from the junk yard were bad or can it be something else? my friend said something about my tie rod being bad but i am completely clueless.. i know this is long but i would greatly appreciate any help or insight

Also check your tie-rods. If you bent a compression arm, I'm 99% sure you bent a tie rod too.

just for the record i replaced the lower control arms and got an alignment and its good now on to fixing the never ending other problems with my car... GOD i could i bought a cadillac with all the money i put into just fixing this damn car.

I did something similar to your situation a couple of years back. I was driving out of a parking lot when I noticed this hot woman walking out of Kroger's. I was watching her and not where I was going and I ran head on into a concrete island. The island was painted black the same color of the lot.

I ended up replacing the lower compression arm, and inner tie rod. Both were bent. The car still had alignment problems. After checking the unibody I found that the lower side of the car just directly after the subframe was crumpled.

What a mess.

So like Deviant said;
Have the alignment and the unibody checked.
