I need some quick help if anyone knows, Im working on it right now and i have the bracket and calipers removed from my car, but i can for the life of me figure out how to get them apart. the bottom bolt came right out, but i dont have a clue how to get out the top one. i have the new calipers all ready to rock if i could figure this little problem out!
Please someone help me!
thanks

Rightee-tightee. Leftee-loosee.

OK, so that wasn't helpful.

If you have the bracket and caliper off the car, you should be able to just slide it off. One of the pins has a rubber gasket that can stick, so it might take some strength.

There's not a bolt on the top of my calipers, just a stupid pin that's currently trying to bind up on my pretty badly on the driver's side. It should slide out but yours is probably rusted like mine.

ok, all taken care of... i guess it had just binded up in there. took i wide standard scredriver and a hammer and punched it out from the other end. everythings on the car now and i just need to bleed the brakes.

i have another question, but its not as big a deal...but sinice i have this thread open.....

some time after i replaced my clutch with a 2600, i was going to do a launch and just at the point of "throw you back" i heard a loud CLUNK!! and a huge loss of power. the car still drives fine, but the feeling is not the same as it goes up in RPMs...big loss of power...if i do get on it, it will try to loose control and start pulling to the ..left... i think. it looks like there may be some oil stain on the bottom of the rear diff now... did something break in there? any ideas? i think im gonna take it in...

thanks

Who needs left-foot braking when the brakes are on all the time, eh? ;)

Actually it's more like "who needs 4 wheel discs, 3 will get the job done" ROFL

As soon as I fix my valve seals its onto that issue.
