Are ABS and non-ABS hubs the same on a 1G?

I know that the ABS models have a toothed rotor for the ABS sensor. I want to take mine out in order to make future stud replacement easier. I've removed the ABS system anyway and don't need the sensor anymore. I just don't know for sure if the non-ABS hubs are the same as the hubs on ABS-equipped cars. Has anyone removed the ABS components from the hub? Did you need any non-ABS parts for it to work?
 
The ABS trigger wheels just bolt to the back of the hubs... If there is a different non-ABS hub, I don't know. My car doesn't seem to miss the triggers, sensors, etc. although I do need to get that #%^& light out of the dash.
 
Well I've read all about how it's easier to change wheel studs on a non-ABS car, and I read something that suggests the toothed rotor gets in the way. I'm trying to see what makes it different - are the hubs physically different, or is it just parts that can be removed? How can I get my ABS car that no longer has ABS converted to the non-ABS setup? Can I just remove parts or do I have to swap parts? That's what I'm trying to figure out.

So you pulled off the toothed rotors?

Yes, the fronts, anyway. Then I took off the front sensors, cut the wires, removed the relay from the ABS motor & she's golden. At some point I'd like to make all new lines and install an adjustable proportioning valve or two. For now I will attempt to "tune with pad compound".
