whats a good drop on a 98 eclipse gs .... i get my coilovers today or tommorow and i wanna know... what is a perfect drop..

1997~1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Drivers Only because bumpers are diff.. thanks...

Front and Back with stock 16 inch rims

I would do 1 to 1.5 inch...anything more will require a lot more than coilovers you'll have to invest addtional money because your wheels will not properly align

they arent aligned right now.. anyways soo.. i have to make a wheel allighment.. thats like balancing the tires

i think your misunderstanding me...if you dramtically drop the car lets say 2.5inches...you won't be able to align them. with out change other parts.

You theoretically need a camber kit if you are lower than .75" from stock. If you have been running the tires for a while with it lowered feel the tire toward the inside of the fender well. It may be worn more than the rest of the tire it may also be causing ununiform heat in the rubber which will prematurely degrade the tire.

The only thing you'll have to worry about w/ tire size is it rubbing on inside your wheelwell. I agree with espinelli, your going to need a camber kit if you lower your car over 1.5"

yo i dropped it 1 inch.. and im pretty pissed... now.. i think i broke something on the right side... maybe the shock

okay woke up this morning and put the car on the lift... one of the washers werent put on right... its looks hot... ill take pictures... thanx guys...
