I need to know if I need to cut the bump stop when installing the tein S.tech springs on my 1g awd. They will also be intalled on KYB AGX struts if that matters.

the paper that came with the springs says 89-94 eclipse but does not mention awd. it does mention awd in the 95-99. there is a separate column for them.

Thanks,

Hey, the part number for the S-Techs on a 1G AWD is SKR80-AUB00... If you have that part number, you should be ok! I had to cut the bumpstops on my 2G, but it should be on the sheet/instructions, mine was... Hope that helps! :thumb:

Yes I have the correct springs. I just need to know if I need to cut my bump stops or not on my 91 AWD. The install sheet that comes with springs says 89-94 mitsu eclipse you need to cut. I dont know if that means all 89-94 or just 2wd and the awd models require no modification. Since it states for 95-99 it has a column for regular then a column for awd turbo models. And the sheet says if model isnt listed then it requires no cutting. So are the 89-94 awd models considered not listed? or does the 89-94 include all models? sorry if that was confusing, maybe i'll post a pic of the instructions so this can be understood a little better.
