Just wondering what other people with JICs flt-a2s are running for spring rates? I'm running whatever they give from factory, which I don't remember right now. I think they are kinda soft, but work well for some auto-X action. RRE mentions they are soft, but just want to know what other people use.

Also what do you guys use for more camber adjustment, or basically "anything aftermarket to get more adjustment from eclipse suspension without having to go full custom not including going to home depot for washers" type stuff. All I have are the RM sway bars, coilovers, and the strut tower bar.

I found this today also, http://www.dgiautomotive.com/. They make a bar that goes between b/c pillars. I was planning to make one by ordering parts from a aircraft catalog, but with this I don't have to think so much.

I am not a big fan of c-pillar harner bars (which won't pass tech for anything more dangerous than autocrossing, anyway). Buy or make a b-pillar bar or some other device which puts the bar within a foot of the seats. My b-pillar bar cost $7 and an hour to make. That a bar exactly 48" long fits perfectly makes it quite simple.

That's what I was thinking, it is far for mounting a harness. It's not a harness bar, though. It just links two points. I know I get body flex because of my sunroof, and just want to make it a lil'more rigid.

How did you make your B-pillar bar?? Unless it's posted someplace else. You pass tech with it on?

BTW-I like your avatar pic.

By my reading of the page to which you linked, that is a harness bar. And there is almost nothing to be gained in terms of chassis flex by connecting the c-pillars together, so I hope it's a harness bar or else it's just more useless bling crap.

[edit: my goodness, they really intend for that thing to be a "chassis stiffener" of some sort. I'm sorry, but that's just silly.]

To make a b-pillar bar, get a 48" piece of 3/4" hollow square weldable steel from Lowes or Home Depot. Then make two little C-shaped brackets to mount it to the stock, upper seatbelt positions. Seriously easy.

That pic -- not that I've thought about it for a while since (for some reason) I don't see avatars -- is from when I ran in STX, before they took away the allowance for aftermarket IC piping. I like the blue light in the foreground. Airport runways are fun.

[edit: before someone tells me to find a clue, please know that I found the place where one can turn of avatars]
