So if you put aftermarket springs on an eclipse, what is the worst that can happen to your shocks? Your ride quality will just be worse. My ride quality is good enough so I don't have to spend $400 for new shocks. Or will their be other problems???

Soon your shocks will become shot... they will die.. offer no dampening. Which leads to premature failure of suspension components, poor traction, and poor ride.
