Need advice on suspension set up

Ok I just got back from "high performance driving school" at thunderhill raceway and I have decided to make my own open track/road course talon. I have a 91 talon tsi awd. Now I know that I should be looking for light 17's that are 7.5 wide and all that, but what about suspension. I know "True" coilovers are good but I am still a high school guy on a $600 a month budget. Could I get by with the sportline kit, or should I really consider investing some cash into coil overs? I still need to make my car faster. I am getting a L1R turbo and all the goods. Let a young wana be track racer know what he can do on a budget. OOOO need to add this- Im not going for an all out racer, Its still my daily driver until I get a truck to tow this beast.

I have sportlines and agx's and they are great for budget racer/street. Ive competed in a few auto-x's now and think that for the price this combo is great. It is a little rough on the street but I could really care less about that. I think it lowers a 1g the perfect amount. I have that setup with black racing N1's which are 17x7.5 and only weigh 17lbs each. not super light but pretty good IMO. Ive got cheap tires on here for now... 215/45 Khumo's... I recommend this setup. Or go with the hybrid's that RRE offers. They provide a little bit more travel for the front ag'x for 1g awd's. i think in the futur I will get their fronts and get better tires and get a little more serious. Good luck!

Would my daily driving be smoother if I got Koni's? Do you have a pic of your car lowered?

send me your email so I can send pics... they are to big to fit in here. Konis woudl be a little bit smoother but you can just set the agc's on the soft setting fro street driving and they are very tolerable

Try and send it agian, the size was too big so it didnt work. What are these agc's you are talking about?
