what else is there that is about the same drop as the pro kit and handling of them w/ the AGXs but not so dang bouncy ??

i have hotbits coilovers on my GVR4 and those things are awsome(but i dont wana spend 2gs in suspension on a daily driver).. but this is for my 93 TSI AWD brand new 6 bolt (waiting on it from the machine shop yet) evo 16g and some other stuff...

Ride frequency is a better term than "bouncy." Ride frequency is the ratio of wheel rate to corner-weight.

- low corner weight & stiff springs = high ride frequency or bouncy.
- opposite is a 1975 cadillac.
- lowering your car reduces ground clearance.
- stiffer springs (higher wheel rate) is required to keep from bottoming on lowered cars.
- Use the MC Urethane bumpers on your shocks when lowering (reduce loads).
- Damper tuning on lowered cars is different from normal ride height.

- Tokico 5 ways are a happy medium allowing you to tune your dampers to meet your needs.

dunno teins aernt the best quality to me... ive riden in cars with them and compared them to other suspensions.. they really aernt at the top.. maybe an entry level coilover but thats about it..

Im looking into the Eibach Pro-Kit as a replacement for my current setup. I have AGXs and I had read that guys like their prokits and its subtle drop. Im gonna order a set from Tirerack and see how it fits my car and my daily driving.

I looked at the Tein Basics and the SS. Its too much $$$ for my purpose. I wonder why suspension parts for these cars are too expensive. I can buy Bilsteins for my C5 and still be down $250 or C6 ZO6 shocks for $195. WTF

I think Fred Beans is selling the C6 Z06 shocks for $189 :D I think I'm gonna order 'em for my 2001 coupe :)

And the TSI will get eibach's :)
