OK, I've been a member for awhile now, and a big fan of DSMs, but i still dont own one. I've finally come to the point where i have ways to afford one, because I worked for awhile over the summer, and I have a car I can sell. What I'm trying to say is, I've been waring with my self inside, whether to sell my car and buy a talon, or keep saving. Please, no bashing, I'm just looking for a simple answer to one question.
For the 89-91 talon TSI AWD 5 speeds, what do the average 2300 dollar talons do in the corners? I mean, if I bought a talon for 2300 or so, how would it handle STOCK. I wont have any money for awhile if i buy one, I know they are fast stock, so I'm wondering if they handle OK. after all, they are 14 years old. Worn shocks are a given, but they probably aren't toast. Anyways, this is more of an experience thing, rather than stats. Of course all cars are different, but the average talon is going to be used and worn, I'm just wondering how bad.
Yeah, your right, I probably could have searched, but I just was looking for a quick answer from my fellow DSM fans. I'm not a n00b, but I guess I am compaired to some of you heh, well anyways, thankyou so much for your time. I greatly appreciate any help in answering my question. I could put my car up for sale today, and by Christmas, I could be DSM shopping, or i can save another million years, and buy something nicer, but it'll still be 14 years old (I'm a huge fan of the pop up lights).
