well being fwd I need all the traction I can muster through conventional means on the street. I am looking into buying a set of 16x8 gram light 57s. The offset is what is my concern. Rays/volk offers this rims with a +30,+38,and +45 I know +45 is to much but woudl I run into rubbing issues with the +38 and a 245/45 tire?

Read that and use the formula provided, and you can calculate every offset you listed to figure out which ones will rub and which won't. There are plenty of threads in the handling that already cover this. For a 245 series tire, your safest bet is to stay below +40mm offset.
