i dont get it ill be doing a 30mph roll and they still spin my tires are

yokohhama avid v4's size p205/55/r16 89v

are they junk. ill spin up in to 3rd

Uhhh, in a non turbo DSM you shouldn't be able to spin at all... Even with bald tires, you wouldn't be able to spin.

i have 2 talons my tsi and my non turbo and yeah i can spin in my non turbo were did you here that from ? my non turbo is fast for what it is and whats done to it. at least for a daily driver good for beating up on lil ricer hondas

but the yokohamas are on my tsi and they just smoke like crazy im putting a act 2600 in will that make them spin even more ?

I'm assuming your TSi is front wheel drive? Umm, what kind of tire pressure are you running in them. The only thing I can think of is if you had WAY too much pressure in them that the contact patch of the tire would be super small and you might spin like crazy. Or... what all do you have done to the TSi? If its still stock I don't see why it would spin that much, from a 30mph roll in second. Mine is a FWD and still stock and I get quite a bit of spinning in 1st gear but none in second. If your putting down quite a bit more power over stock, spinning is certainly to be expected on a FWD.

as of now i have an open down pipe and K&N filter and a tubuler manifold ive been installing all the parts i got over winter so not all my parts are on it yet i dont know how much boost i was running i seen the stock gauge go up to 14psi and i let off. tire pressuer im not shure they were looking pretty flat i know cuzz i had to get air .

im thinking about some stiff shocks and a set of slicks what slicks what slicks is every one running?

i have the avids on my camaro and they break loose pretty easily - they are an all season tire though so you can't expect them to be too sticky - move to a summer tire if you want better traction

ok thanks tim i finely geting my talon out for summer didnt have much time over this cold ass ohio winter shit sucked but im thinking about just geting slicks

i had those garbage tires on my car when i bought it... i took it to the track and lit up all 4 coming out of the hole (hence my 1.9 60') and it was a huge pain in the ass. finally got rid of them when i spun out on the highway at 55mph while avoiding an accident. see sig pic.

i got continental contiextremecontact tires now... grip very well for all seasons.
