Toronto,
i was told that the front and rear drive trains break after 400hp . is that ture ? if so does anyone knoe where i can buy drive trains to hold that much HP for an AWD?hanks for your help.:thumb:

I think you are refering to axles, the tranny, and the transfer-case.

You can beef up your tranny with a shep racing, or TRE tranny rebuild. You can weld to spider gears in the t-case, and you can buy a truck load of factory axels.

In reality, you won't go through parts left and right, if you know how to drive. Look at shep, running mid 9's with 700 WHEEL horsepower (with very low bottle pressure, and SPINNING the tires ON the dyno), slicks, and a ACT 2900, and not killing his drivetrain. He actually used one tranny all season.

Too me, it sounds like you have no clue. You need a lot of driving experience to even make it down the street in a car like you mentioned.

On a side note, how did you get a GSX in Canada?

thanks for the help i was just told that so i was woundering if it was ture before i put to much HP in my car i was just making sure so i didnt get in any more problems.

do u know were to get up graded axles?

There really aren't many aftermarket axles, the ones there are run around 1000 bucks a pair. I forget who makes and sells them.
