hey iv got a 98 talon esi w/o a factory sway bar in the rear and was wondering if you seasoned dsmers would give me some pointers on the correct route to take regarding this modifucation.... and also there is talk of needing an extra install kit because of the fact that there was no oe rear sway. also i dont plan on putting in a 3in exhaust so we dont have to worry about clearence.....thanks..... :talon:

youll need gst/gs lower control arms, sway bar endlinks and mounting brackets along with the miscellaneous nuts and obviously the sway bar of your choice. All will cost you about 150 for all the parts brand new or even cheaper if you can get them from a junk yard. The install is easy, I did the swap in about an hour and its pretty straight forward. Since Sway bar choice will also depend on how the exhaust routes through the rear cross member. If it routes the same as oem then pick any sway bar you want such as ST, Intrax, addco but if your exhaust goes under the cross member then the rear bar is just limited to Rm racing sway bars.
