Will my 18's fit on a 93+ 3000gt vr-4?

Just like the title says. My brother is getting a 3000gt VR-4 (newer than a 93 or whatever year they switched to fixed headlights...) and I am about to sell my GSX and we were wondering if the wheels would swap over and fit on the VR-4.

The only problem I see is caliper/wheel clearance. The front of the vr4 caliper sticks out quite a bit and a lot of aftermarket wheels wont fit. You will have to stick a wheel on there to see if it clears or not.

That is correct...the caliper is HUGE...I tried interchanging rims off my GSX to my Stealth TT and it was a no go...in fact...upon later research i discovered that 95 percent of the time you will not be able to swap...there is a very short list of rims out there that will fit the VR4/stealth TT...they might, tho...depends on what type of rims you have.

Does the caliper stick too far from the center of the rotor (diameter) or does it stick too far out away from the center of the car (width)?

The caliper will fit inside the wheel but will hit the backside of the wheel face(width).
