I think I am over it. I just got my 18X8 rims (22.5 lbs each) and 245/40/18 tires. Wheel and tire came to 50.1 lbs. I read some where the swirlie rims were 25 lbs (2.2 lbs heavier) so i thought my new setup would be lighter. I was suprised to find the stock rim/tire came out to only 41 lbs.

What does your aftermarket wheel tire combo weigh in at?

You will find very quickly that 1lb per inch of diameter is the price threshold between "pricy" and "holy crap!"

My new 18 X 10.5 wheels are 19.2 lbs, and roughly $300 each.
