I'm stuck between Kumho Escta Supra 712, Kumho Escta ASX and Falken Azenis ST115

I'm leaning towards the Kumho ASX's because they are all season and have a 420 treadwear rating compared to the Supra's 280. They are also "high performance", I don't need high performance tires but I would like to have more traction than the tires I have on their now.

Anyone have any experiences with either of those 3, or can recommend one or the other? Any help is appreciated.

I have not used the ASX's but the ST115's are a runaway winner over the Kumho 712's, IMO.

Well if you are in the line for a good All season tire, I would check Pirelli P Zero Nero at $102, which is not much more then the rest, but you are getting one of the best out there.

If you want go cheaper and performance is not that crucial, I would check Yokohama Avid V4s, which is hard to beat at $81.

Good luck!

[EDIT:]
I stay corrected here since Kumho ECSTA ASX goes for only $74. That is a darn good price!!

Well I have BFG Traction T/A's and luv them, :rocks: despite the cool response from people here. Apparently others outside of here agree, as they are STILL rated No. 1 at Tire Rack. My review is also posted there.

Referance this thread for some real time info on these tires and a link to their review at tire rack.

In addition to the above, they performed well this winter when I drove the Laser.

I liked my 712s at first, but now I hate them. Their only saving grace is they look good, but they don't handle very well.

I'm set on the Falken Azenis ST115

I was looking at the tread pattern, is it one-directional? Meaning I have a pair for my left side and a pair for my right? Or does it not matter which way the tread is facing on these tires?

i wouldn't go by treadwear because all tire companies do their own treadwear rating its not just one controlled rating. just a little fyi :thumb:
