What size of tires on GSX wheels?

People, I have to change my tires but can´t find the original size around here (215/50R17). What other sizes have you used in this wheels? (remember it is the 17" x 6,5" 97-99 GSX OEM wheels).

I was wondering if 225/45R17 would be too wide for the wheel.

why do you want pictures? ive seen them, it looks normal. not as squished out as some would have you think. seemed to handle fine too.

225 is the practical limit though.

Just wanted to "see" if they would look to wide for the rims or not (as I think that my stock 215s already look a bit wide for the 6,5" wheels).

I think that will buy that ones as they are the only ones I can get.
BTW, anybody tried Yokohama A539?
