OK, i have searched and read for like 2 hours now, and i feel pretty good about doing my suspension upgrade. I am going to be lowing me car on some eiback sportline springs. and i have a couple questions about the camber and the toe.

first the easy one. i know i want zero toe in front, but i want a little less than recomended toe-in, in the rear. how much toe-in is ideal in the rear?

next the camber. lets start in the front. i am still a littel unclear of the different camber kits for the front. there are the bushing things for the upper control arm and there is the weird bolt looking thing. both of which i am not sure how they adjust camber.
anyways, will i absolutely need a front camber kit with the sportlines. i know they are low, but can i get away without the kit for a while. if not which kit would be best?

and now the rear. i am going to buy the 8 longer bolts and washers for the home made camber kit. my questions is how many inches of washers do i need idealy for the sportlines.

thanks in advance guys. i have done a lot of searching but if you think i missed a page a link would be appriciated.

I will try and help since I have the Sportlines(with Illuminas).

1. You will want zero toe in the rear with Sportlines due to the amount of negative camber they cause.

2. You can get by without a camber kit in the front as well as the rear, just be certain you get an alignment with zero toe both front and rear. If you do decide you want a camber kit up front, I'd recommend the Ingalls +/- 3º kit, that is what I got for the front.

3. I would use shim spacers rather than washers, they sells these at Autozone and most parts stores, if not your alignment shop should have them. You can only bring the camber positive so much before the tire will rub the fender lip with Sportlines, they are just too low in the rear. Now if you roll your fenders, that is a different story and you might be able to put the camber within spec.

Hope this helps, but if you haven't already ordered the Sportlines then I would not get them, they are just too low in the rear. Check this thread for an alternative spring(Tein S-tech), they're about the same drop in the front and not nearly as low in the rear which will give you some leeway in your alignment options.
