I have a 90 TSi AWD and was woundering if KYB AGX's with Ground Control Coilovers were a good combo? I haven't heard anything bad about them, but I am concerned about ride quality still. I want something inexpensive but of good quality. I'm only a senior in highschool, so money is tight with a part time job. Thanks. :talon:

some people say they like that set up, some hate it. as for me, my gst was lowered all the way on gc coilovers and agx shocks, the ride was pretty hard, found myself affraid to drive on bumpy roads because the car would bang over bumps so hard. basically had no suspension travel at all. fine for occasional driving but wouldnt be able to stand every day driving like that.

I have KYB AGX's with Eibach sport springs on the front of my '93 Talon FWD (GABs/Eibachs on the rear) and I love them. When first installed I had them on full soft and was happy, but as I got more used to them I went up one click stiffer. This has proved exceptionally satisfying for the past three years (best handling street car I've ever driven), and I wouldn't dream of going back to stock. Oh, I also have a Neuspeed strut brace on the front - I'm sure that helps. If you are currently running stock 1G gear under your car, throw some KYBs at it and be happy! :thumb:

Disclaimer: I like driving twisty country roads, where a good suspension excels, but I don't know anything about drag racing. If you are looking to go drag or street racing, forget everything I wrote! OMG
