Trying to figure out what springs I should get for my 1g AWD. I will be running GAB struts and I understand that they are related to the AGX but a little stiffer and a little more harsh. I would liek somthing that will drop my car around a inch and handle very well for just a shock/spring setup. Any ideas?

Long story short, i bought a Galant VR4 from someone who did not know all the mods the car had and said he could not get the car to start on day for 1700. Get the car home and the the motor is toast, I do some reaserch and turns out the car had alot of cool stuff on it like a built 94 tranny with a CUSCO 1500 diff, built trans 18g etc. The more we tore the car apart the more stuff it had like a built head with cams etc. It had GAB struts and HR springs on it. I sold the shell to someone else since it had a salvage title and picked up a clean 1g and pocketed the cash.

Long stiory short, I dont think they make the GABS anymore and AGXs are close but from what I hear not as good.

Pick up some Vogtland springs. They're great, and work well with just about all the shocks, GAB, Tokico, etc.
