Instead of changing every bushing on a 1G, which bushings SHOULD be replaced?

Front control arm rear bushings
Both rear control arm bushings

The front control arm front bushing does not deflect much.
The trailing arm bushing is only worthwhile if you are locking the passive toe link in the arm. I recomend getting the kit from DSS that uses a spherical bearing.

Spherical bearings fail to soon. Try the kit from taboospeedshop.com. His kit uses the same front link so all you have to do is install his kit and buy the front bushing for the rear arm. Cheaper and longer lasting.

And it completely binds up the rear suspension.

A good quality spherical bearing won't fail too soon. I've used the same bearings on rally cars for two seasons before without a failure.

I've dealt with them in lifted trucks and they just don't have the tensile strength in my opinion to hold a major suspension part. Maybe if it's used on a sway bar or a very high quality part is used. However, they are open to road grit, salt water and just general shit when used in an everyday application on a street car.

I don't see a bushing kit on that website. Where do you click?

Be careful ordering from Taboo. I ordered a clutch pedal bushing kit from him back in August '04 and he never sent it to me. I sent him MANY emails (unfortunately they list no phone number) and he never once replied to any of them.

In Martins defense (taboo) his server took a poop on him and there was nothing he could do. Did you ever hear anything from him? He's a busy guy.

That definitely sucks, but:

BTW.. A search on http://www.goodguybadguy.org revealed no threads reporting any issues with Taboo. Take your poor experience there so other people will know about it and be warned.

I sympathize with your experience but it gets annoying when every tech thread involving the active rear toe degenerates into Taboo sucks.

i agree it sucks, but taboo will still allow you to order from them screawing over someone new. I would rather warn the person about taboo just in case so they dont lose 50 something bucks. Plus you know not everyone uses that goodguybadguy site

and BTW

I'm not disagreeing with your intentions in posting your experience in every thread involving Taboo. I was just reminding you of the rules of the board before a moderator locks the thread.

You realize that Taboo is an individual who has said many times that he does this in his free time to help the community and does not run a business. A website does not make it a business.

So what you are saying is you don't care about violating forum rules involving customer service experiences but suddenly you're concerned about violating the goodguybadguy rules? Think about it.

I don't care if the guy slept with your sister, got her knocked up, and then stole your car. That you could bi*** about legally, but vendor bashing is against the rules. Thanks for causing a potentially informational thread to be locked.
