I am needing to rebuild my Brake Master Cylinder. I am having the hardest time finding a rebuild kit. Does anyone know of anyone selling a kit. I've tried most local part stores and have searched through a lot of DSM Vendors without any luck.

There are only the two O-type rings that, bushings, whatever you want to call them, but noone seems to carry these.

I really don't wanna purchase a whole new Brake Master Cylinder.

TIA!

im a mechanic, and at my work they dont bother rebuilding the Master Cylinders because its just plain easier to have Napa, Acme, ect bring us a new one. I think i got one for my car, and my cost was somewere around 80 bucks. Just make sure u bench bleed it and stuff before driving the car.

Just in case anyone is looking for the same thing.

It is cheaper to rebuild them and there are kits out there.

Raybesto's Part #CMK1513 - www.rockauto.com - search through the catalog - look in clutch - then clutch master cylinder rebuild kit.

:)

Yeah, they're called "cups". Back in the days when mechanics were men, every shop had a tin box full of all the sizes and a rebuild would cost 25¢ in parts.
We didn't even mind the wooden wheels and iron tires then, either.

I couldn't find a kit when I needed one. Dammit.
