Tein with EDFC

I know people are running the flex supsension and seem to like them, but the EDFC is a gimic and a waste of money. :thumbdown

Hands down tein makes some really good shyt period. I for one just invested in their basic coilover system. The edfc's would be a nice feature to have cause u could adjust the suspension inside the car. All it does is make that aspect easier. Waste of money if u don't autocross and such.

I have a set of Tein Flex coilovers with the EDFC in my other car. The coilovers are great and I like the 16 different dampening positions. And all done from inside the car. I personally like the EDFC, if you willing to shell out the money.

EDFCs are not useful for autocrossing. If you have the time to reach over and adjust the shocks during a run, then you aren't driving fast enough. They will also bump your car to Street Modified or higher, where you will be faced with cars a heck of lot faster than most DSMs.

Power doesn't win auto-x's, suspensions do. Power just makes them funner :D

The shocks are adjustable, it's up to you if you want to be able to adjust them while driving, or get out and do it. I like having a few stetings on my ebc to choose from, it's the same thing really. It's just a matter of preferance.

I personally do not see the need to have EDFC. I have FLEX's on my car, I merely adjusted them to where I wanted, and left them there.

However, it is YOUR money. If you want it and feel you will use it a lot, by all means, purchase it.

I have a set of Tein Type Flex and yeah, it's nice to have the EFDC but it only takes one minute to go and ajusted. That $380 could be spent on something else that can give u some power.
