Offset 2G

Alright i have a set of 17x7 rims with a 42mm offset. I'm running 225x45x17 tires on them. I orginally had them on my 1G AWD, and now i want to transfer them to my 2G that is arriving in a few days. Now my question is when i looked at the 2G it had a different suspension set up in the back and i was concered with rubbing. Does anyone know if this combo that worked okay on my 1G will work on my 2G that arrives on monday?

P.S. Also the rim spindals came very close to my 1G's brake calapers, almost within a 1/16" with new brake pads on. The maker of the rim is Excel P5's same as the Tenzo Type R i believe. pics here http://teammodified.8m.com/photo4.html

225/45/17 on +42mm is just about perfect for a 2G.
