Racing heart c2s

Right now im contemplating if going with a 19inch rim and to be more specific Racing Heart evolution C2's..... the're a one piece rim made from forged steel and they are quite sexy. Im wondering if going with a big rim will that hurt my performance too much? The rubber that im gonna get around em will be Khumo Ecsta ASX 225/35/19.

The Khumos got rated the same as the parada spec-2s but have a tire wear of 420 rather than paradas 300 rating..... they also cost less and i am all about saving money cuse i dont have much and would like to keep as much as i can for the future.

To restate my question,

Will 19s be a big performance no no? and also anyone know if the Khumos will be a bad performer?

hmm... well 19s could reduce acceleration as they would be of a larger overall diameter, certainly they are bad for drag as you want big sidewall to grip. i think 17s are the best size for perfomance, as they allow for more tire, more break and what not. its not good to move mass far out from the center of rotation.

Well im not planning to take it to the track and do drags or auto cross. Im just trying to make a really good looking car that has nice performance. So if it doesnt really screw with traction and grip for a street car then its all good.

i wouldnt imagine it to. but i dont have much experience with it, just relaying what i have heard. you may notice a rougher ride because lack of sidewall will translate more bumps.

ive ridin in my gsx with 19s b4 and its not really all that different than stock wheels. I was riding with 19x8 ace allures that my dad needed to brake in cuse his car is too low and it was all good. Im keepin my stock rims if i ever need to use them for racing when i feel like tryin.
