What size tire is a better fit?

Which of these two tires are a better fit for my 17x7 wheel with +40mm offset? 215/45/17 or 235/40/17. im kinda new to this so i dont really know for sure, these are just suggestions i got off of a tire calculation site. thanks for the help

215/45/17's or 225/45/17's are okay on those wheels.
