The fitment was fine with the Skunk2s. You are correct in that they don't offer any different spring rates. But then again, not everyone needs that option.jtmcinder said:That's $.02 too much.
It all comes down to spring rates, suspension travel, and whether the sleeves fit the shocks nicely. Skunk2s come with X spring rates - no options. They also often don't fit as well around the shock. That's why you pay for a GC kit.

The drop height isn't very good compared to other brands either and the install was a bi***. If your going to go w/the Skunk2s then definitley get some strut bars while your at it, some AGX's would be nice too.
