I decided to take on the task of installing: Prothane bushings, TEIN SS, and RDSM swaybars and Ingals camber gizmo's.
Now. The bushings are a pain, but tolerable. The front sway bar was interesting, but still doable. BUT here is the list of parts that I had to replace to get said items in/out.
Swaybar end links (ALL FOUR)
Toe bolts in the rear
Passengers side control arm (busted bj boot)
Passenger side lower lateral arm (busted the bj boot AGAIN)
Passenger side axle AND hub (took 17 TONS and a torch to seperate the OEM parts.
I spent quite a bit on the upgraded parts. I have spent SHIT LOADS ON THESE BS PARTS!!! The end links alone cost me over $120. This crap where you can't replace the ball joints is complete BS. I have to replace the front upper ones also... but I don't give a rats arse about those at the moment. Even buying the boots (dealer :thumbdown) was $32 for both sides.
Luckily my friend picked up the new axle AND hub for $200... which is cool, but I am done spending money on this car for quite some time.
BTW, this thing better handle like a DREAM when I am done!
