Hi,

Within the next month or 2, I am upgrading my complete suspension? But reading the forums lately, I am getting confused about what to get.
First I was thinking to get KYB AGX with skunk2 coilovers, camber correction kits (probably from specialty products), probably lower the car to max 2", strut and sway bars and to finish enkei RPM2 (17x7 with 38 or 45mm offset) or RPF1 (17x7.5 with 48mm offset) rims with yokohama AVS ES100 tires 225/45-17.
But I already deleted the KYB AGX and probably skunk2 coilovers to! And replace them with koni yellow and maybe eibach springs. But I still would prefer coilovers.

What do you thing of the setup and what would you suggest to change if so? And what spring rates is recommended for my car with a drop of 1.5 to 2"? Mainly used on drag strip and street use (not a daily driver).

Thanks for the input!

Sincerely,

Sven

You're on the right track as far as choosing the right shocks. Try the ground control coilover setup with hypercoil springs. Be careful when lowering your car too much (2 inches). You don't want to limit your suspension travel too much, otherwise you will be hitting your bumpstops. I'm not too sure on which springrates to choose for the drag strip so I can't help you there.

You might want to consider upping the rim width. The RPM2s come in 17X8 and the RPF1s come in 17X8 and 17X8.5. I've got the RPF1s in 17X8.5/40 mm offset with a 245 tire. Requires a little fender rolling/trimming, especially if you are going to lower it, but I think it's worth it.
