Well back about 6 months ago I bought these products to upgrade my braking system:

-EBC slotted and dimpled rotors-$200
-Hawk HPS brake pads-$65
-Motul brake fluid-$10
-Goodrich SS brake lines-$95

I am about to put all of it on the car and was thinking, is this REALLY going to improve my braking $400 worth? They are still the stock sized rotors.

Would the DSS big brake upgrade have been better for only $100 more?

Will this setup still stop 300HP pretty well?

Yes the big brake kit would have been better for 100 more.

What you bought will improve your braking enough though.

Piston area and distance from hub center make the most differnce in braking performance. With what you got, you probably will see some improvement, but not $400 worth. For a bit over $200 more you could've gotten a Baer Track kit. 13".
