Ok, 96 TSi, dropped on eibach pro kit and koni yellow 5 ways. Im looking to get wheels and i have em picked out, but i need opinions on if they will fit and w/ what size tire.

Wheels - Borbet Type E
Bolt Pattern - 5-114
Size - 17 x 8
Offset - +35mm

My camber is bad right now, but its going to the alignment shop b4 the wheels get put on so i need to know which tire would be right for them or if there will be any problems w/ the wheels fitting etc etc. Ive had these wheels on the car when the it was stock ride height (buddy of mine had em on his stealth), the tires were 245/40/17. They fit ok then, but obviously they wont fit now. Let me know if you need anymore info and thanks in advance.

You should not have any probs. I have 17x8 Millie miglias. IMO, I think you should get the alignment after you put the new rims on. As for tires, most of us have 215/45.....some have 225. I don't recall anyone going anybigger than that.

some people go bigger than 225...if the 245s wont fit maybe a 235 40 might....if the stockers fit right then go here: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html find a similar sized tire and go with that. I wouldnt go any smaller than 225 other wise give me your 8 inch wheels and get 7 inchers.

You could fit 245's without rubbing the rear control arm but you won't get them to tuck under your fenders. Consequently you would need to keep your suspension height a little higher. 235's might not even fit with that wide offset and adjusted camber. If you want to avoid problems I would look at 225/45/17's.
