Man I just got my rims in the mail, 18x7.5 +43 offset with 225/40/18 Pirelli PZero Nero tires, and I put em on and everything but whenever I take off a lil fast in first I hear a slight squeaking sound in the back. Are my tires rubbing against the fender or something?

I was thinking that maybe I need a camber kit or just have my camber corrected so that rubbing doesnt occur. I had 17s on there before with 205/40 (i know, the tires werent the right size) and this never happened even with four people in the car.

The guy I bought the rims from (wheeloptions.com) said that a lot of customers that come to him to get rims who have lowered cars get their fenders rolled. I wasn't too sure of what this was and he explained it to me and maybe I should do that IF there is rubbing. My car (95 GS-T) has Ground Control Coil Overs with Eibach Springs and Tokico HP Series shocks and its lowered like 2 inches all around.

Also are my tires the right size for the wheels? cos I think the stock wheels are 16s with 205/50/16 tires right?

It really sucks to have a new set of rims but have this problem stuck in the back of your mind so any kind of help will be appreciated.

Relax. Your choice of overall tire diameter is right on the money. Your offset is right for your tire width. Sounds like a straight forward case of fender flange rub to me. Easily treated.

There's a couple methods. Search and you'll probably find detailed instructions in this forum.

The simplest method is to push it up by levering a baseball bat against the tire. I haven't tried this one.

The other way is to clip the flange every couple of inches (every inch if you want it really easy) thin push up into the fender.

When your done slather some roofing cement over the rough edges and bare metal.
