I've done a fair amount of reading on springs/shocks, and I found a couple cases where this was true, but I"d like to doublecheck.

I'm not interested in slamming the car, but I want to slowly set it up to auto-x/race better. My stock shocks are still in pretty good shape, no excessive bounce and the ride is pretty good.

Since the pro-kit isn't a big drop, I can still run my stock shocks for awhile and not risk blowing them out like I would w/ a 1.5-2" drop right?

I'll eventually get the kyb agx's, but I don't have the money right now, but I can afford the springs.

Thanks in advance

Prokit is designed to go with stock shocks, hence the low spring rate.

i have goldline springs that dropped it 2" but i kept the stock shocks and the car was prety good a little on the stiff side but alright it had that set up for about a year and i now have the agx's there really was no super improvement in the ride but it handles and performes better all around but hey what ever floats your boat good luck :thumb:
