Will I need supporting mods with new springs?

I own a FWD with 17" Wheels, I'm buying 2" drop springs. Will I need new shocks or camber kits? THnx

New Shocks: Need? No. Want? Yes.

When you slam a DSM on stock shocks, you spend a lot of time on the bumpstops in the front (but not in the rear). Bumpstops are like springs, but will really really really high rates. When you put high rates on the front and not the rear, you usually get understeer. (Yes, there are ways to get away with super high rate front springs and soft rears, but you're not readt for this. And you won't want it on a street-driven car.)

Camber Kits: Yes. At least, in the rear.

Out of curiosity ... why not do some mods that will make the car handle better, instead? You can have people look at all sides of your car when it is parked and say "wow" or you can have people only ever see the rear of your car and say "wow." I know which I'd prefer.
