My mom has a 99 rs, and my step dad was putting in a front strut bar for her, and he broke 2 out of the 3 bolts on the left strut (left if you stand in front looking under the hood) How dangerous is it if she drives like this? What do we need to do to fix her car? She has to go to Florida tomorrow and needs her car, is it safe to drive there with only the 1 bolt left on there? Please dont give us bad news.. Thanks alot guys

How the heck do you break those bolts?

Anyway. I would not drive a 2G with two of the three bolts that hold the shock & spring to the chassis broken. Call me crazy, but I like having the suspension connected to the car by more than friction.

If I were you, I'd be calling around to see if your step-dad has recently taken out a large insurance policy on your mom. Then rent her a car or loan her yours.
